About Us
The American Advertising Federation – District 13 – also known as AAF District 13 is one of 15 districts across the United States serving the American Advertising Federation (AAF) headquartered in Washington, DC.
AAF District 13, is the parent organization for AAF-Hawaii and Ad 2 Hawaii, all 501c6 non-profit trade organizations representing Advertising in the State of Hawaii for over 50 years.
To be invited to be a part of AAF District 13, you must be Past President of AAF-Hawaii and or AD 2 Hawaii.
AAF-Hawaii is for professionals 32 years and older.
Ad 2 Hawaii for young professionals and students 32 years old and younger.
The AAF is made up of more than 35,000 advertising, design, marketing and others interested in the field of advertising throughout the United States.
The AAF is unique as it’s the only advertising trade organization that spans across all disciplines of advertising.
We are the unifying voice of Advertising.
We represent all interests and all factions of Hawaii Advertising Community
Mission
- To have open communication with all members to ensure our organization is meeting their needs
- To ensure that the American Advertising Federation – Hawaii (AAF-Hawaii) and Ad 2 Hawaii are aligned with the mission and goals of the AAF and are consistent and use the best practices.
- To provide support and services to both AAF-Hawaii and Ad 2 Hawaii the includes club management information and guidance, professional development opportunities and networking.
- Maintain AAF District 13’s status as a separate district within the AAF.
Execute
- The Pele Awards (known as the National Level as the American Advertising Awards); College and High Pele Awards
- The National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), a Nationwide college advertising competition
- Ongoing creative fundraisers to support the efforts of AAF District 13, AAF-Hawaii and Ad 2 Hawaii.
Support
- The Most Promising Multi-Cultural Program, a National AAF program to promote diversity and inclusion within the Advertising industry honoring the top College Seniors in the Nation.
